Today I said goodbye to Lola. She has left an indelible paw-print on my heart. Hopefully she and my pop are snuggled up reading the New York Times together somewhere.

And the back gate is open for good.

Oh my goodness. I just ran into this site and fell in love with your style when I ran into this post. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my little soul mate a year ago on the 26th of June. It was so heartbreaking. Always hold Lola close to you, and she will never leave your side. Blessings.

Our family has experienced the loss of a special pet … we share your feelings of loss. Sorry that happened but I’m so glad you had the good memories.

Lola lives with us all. On islands in Maine and beaches in New Jersey. In 5th floor walk-ups and on 11 flights of elevator. My Angel is begging her for a walk right now, I feel sure, and Gunner wants her to save him a place on the rabbit hunts in heaven!
