At this Manhattan wedding, the bride brought a sense of joy and happiness to the process that lasted from the time we first met until the couple said their goodbyes to leave for their honeymoon. Her excitement and lighthearted enthusiasm found its way into every aspect of the design and transformed New York’s formal Metropolitan Club into a magical and sparkling setting.

In order to keep the room open and light, we focused our design on the fireplace and the ceremony. The two large trees of white cherry blossoms framed the fireplace. Votive candles and crystals hung from the branches and the trunk of birch was wrapped with white wisteria.
The bride had always loved butterflies and crystals and we used them liberally throughout the design to add whimsy and sparkle to the event. The hanging elements added movement and drama to the room and went a long way to lighten up a very formal setting. Opalescent butterflies were hung by sheer organza ribbons from the fireplace.
As the couple walks down the aisle the white cherry blossoms practically explode in front of them and bring in the outdoors almost as in a fairy tale.
Butterflies, crystals, and votive candles hang from the branches.

This beautiful urn of pink cymbidium orchids, hydrangea, and roses mirrored the same elements used in the ceremony and became and anchor for the cocktail reception.

The head wreath worn by the flower girl was made of pink majolica roses.
The bridesmaid’s bouquets included pink and white majolica roses.
The bride’s bouquet was completely white – fully hand wired with white majolica and white spray roses and tied with off white satin ribbon.

I hope it is appropriate to comment on my own wedding! But I couldn’t let the opportunity go by to once again say “thank you, thank you, thank you” from the bottom of my heart for making our day as spectacular and magical as it was! Mark and your whole team transformed an already beautiful space into one that literally took our guest’s breath away. I am still receiving compliments on all your hard work months after the occasion. We are so blessed to have had the honor of working with you all!
