After begging and pleading…Garrett Mastrogiovanni, my Director of Production, HAS AGREED TO BLOG!! He just returned from the Paris gift show where he searched for yummy things for us to add to our design repetiore for the coming year. These are things that inspired him and he is excited to share them with you. Au revoir~Michelle.
From Garrett….
Here are a few of my favorite things and inspirations I found as I wandered the Marais and walked the gift show in Paris.
PERFECT PERCHES:
I was awed by this woven metal chaise longue by Armand Albert Rateau.
The perfect sinewy ballroom chair by Phillipe Starck.
PERFECT PLEATS:
Great inspiration for tent draping. The fabric is a silvery velvet.
A wonderful fabric installation at the Baccarat Museum. It would be a perfect transition from one room to another.
PERFECT PASTILLES:
These delicacies came in so many great colors! A perfect palette for spring candy stations.
PERFECT PLUMES:
A peacock standing guard in the window of one of my latest obsessions~Cire Trudon Candles….not to mention our company logo!
PERFECT PROTECTION:
Much to Michelle’s dismay I love thistle in flower arrangements…maybe she will like this beautiful ornamental gate of thistle at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs??
PERFECT PYRAMID:
What does one say about this….perfect.

Wow! What an amazing experience. I would love to see how these ideas will play out an event. The fabrics especially are really to die for.
