I adore Real Simple Magazine and was thrilled when they asked me to participate in their November issue featuring a story about designing holiday tables that don’t break the bank. Ours came in under $40! I wanted to create a non-traditional layout that reminded me of my favorite memories in the Caribbean, which is where I try to spend my holidays. The best part about this design is that no matter where you are(freezing in your apt in nyc) on Thanksgiving, this table can make you feel like your sailing in turquoise waters.

This was BEAUTIFUL Michelle! I meant to email you the minute I saw it. I’m doing this for my holiday dinner. Congratulations. (and, p.s. it should’ve been the cover in my opinion!!!)
