Unexpected Details

After all these years in the business I love the challenge of finding fresh alternatives to cut flowers in a clear glass vase.

Here are some snapshots to illustrate some ideas.

Who knew leeks would make the cut! Why do these onions tickle my fancy? They have a great bold uniform shape, ASIDE FROM BEING GREEN & WHITE. I paired these handsome veggies with beautiful Vendela roses.

We arranged these in small varying vase sizes to create dimension and a bit of movement.

Granny Smith apples have long been incorporated into arrangements. I am forever thinking of clever ways to marry simple elements for a big statement (not to mention I love anything preppy!)

The cocktail table arrangement below is an excellent example of how something diminutive can make a big impact. These sweet tulip cups were for a cocktail reception at a recent wedding. The clever combination of two simple 2 elements does the heavy lifting to satisfy the design statement without too much fuss!
