I have had the honor and privilege of working with the talented people that comprised Modern Bride & Elegant Bride over the past 8 years. I am shocked and devastated at the closing of these 2 amazing magazines.

Ironically I was on a shoot for Elegant Bride in Newport when the sad, sad news was delivered. Needless to say I am home 2 days early with a heavy heart. I feel compelled to share with those of you who read my blog on weekly basis some of the countless opportunities I was afforded through Modern Bride and Elegant Bride over the years and especially want you to know how instrumental their faith in me was to my career.

I was honored to be a Modern Bride Trendsetter and on the Advisory Panel. There were countless editorial shoots and Modern Bride ran First Serial before my book was published. I learned what was important to producing an impeccable outcome on a photo-shoot from Lou…that always being nice really does make a difference from Linda …and most importantly the power of community from Tony.

 I hope out paths cross again and know that I am forever grateful.
